Homid - Born of Woman

While the most numerous, and arguably the breed least in touch with the Wyld, human-born Furies still play a vital role in furthering the Tribe's causes among human culture. As in touch as most homids are with modern society, these Furies actively campaign (or battle!) for a woman's right to freedom from injustices that only exist among humans.

Metis - Born of Garou

Metis are the rarest breed in the tribe. Though by nature their sterility precludes a gender, the only "males" in the tribe are of this breed. Indeed, some traditional Furies only refer to their Metis tribemates as "it." The Black Furies can even be said to treat their Metis worse than any other Tribe, excluding possibly the Red Talons. Why, then, do the warrior women keep this breed at all? That, my friend, is a debate that spans ages...

Lupus - Born of Wolf

As the breed closest to the Wyld, lupus Furies hold a place of honor and occasionally envy for the rest of the Tribe. Though fewer and fewer lupus are born each year, the number of lupus in the Tribe is still greater than the number of Metis, though just barely. Some sisters fondly relate the tales of when the Tribe was lead solely by its lupus, as they hear the pulse of the Wyld more loudly than any other breed.
